Delete your Boma account

You can delete your account and personal data at any time.

In the app

1. Open Boma and sign in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

By email

If you can’t use the app, email support@getboma.org from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll confirm within 7 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, email, phone number, photo), saved wishlists, push-notification tokens and host verification documents are deleted.
• Your listings are removed from Boma.
• Your messages and reviews are anonymised, so the other person’s side of the conversation still makes sense.

What we keep

Booking, payment and refund records are kept for as long as Tanzanian tax and financial law requires, then deleted. They are no longer linked to a usable account.

You can’t delete your account while you have an upcoming confirmed trip or, as a host, an upcoming confirmed booking. Cancel those first.
